Scene #76
The sound of metal striking metal echoed throughout the shadows of
the forest, frightening the small and helpless animals that resided
there. A young figure around 5'2" leaped and dogged the
continuous blows from her opponent and barely missed being nicked
by her enemy's relentless blade. Their surroundings would've been
difficult to maneuver in; But I didn't say they were normal now did
I? "Give it up Arianei", stated the other female figure in
aflowing blue-black hooded cloak; "Never, Rielle I am not going to
lose to you not again." "Suit yourself, it is your funeral after
all... Before Rielle could finish lightning flashed and before
long they were both being drenched by torrents of stinging rain.
None the less Arianei ran at her enemy with her blade engulfed in
black-red energy, Rielle barely missed being almost impaled by the
deadly instrument and struck her own katana forward with such
frightening precision and speed that it couldn't be seen by the
naked eye. Despite her accuracy she only slashed her opponent in
the shoulder blade. Arianei didn't have enough time to react to
the stabbing pain of her wound before she kicked Rielle into a
nearby tree, pinning her to it with the blade of her sword against
the pale flesh of Rielle's throat. "Give in Rielle, now."
"Fine, you win for now my sister;" she whispered just as she
disappeared in a puff of smoke. Arianei Dawes awoke in a cold
sweat to the sound of her mother's melodic voice calling her for
dinner, how long did I sleep she thought to herself. She climbed
out of bed still trying to catch from the vivid dream. Arianei
stopped in front of her full length mirror and that's when she
noticed a figure smirking at her from beyond the glass. Arianei
smiled triumphantly at the woman. She started to head downstairs
when Rielle whispered eight little words so that only Arianei could
hear; "Next time sister, you won't be so lucky."
