"Search for Princess Marriane. She would be here without doubt. If she gets away this time, I will have all of your hides stripped and hang your dripping bodies in the courtyard for the insects to feast. GO!"
Arador watched as his men went through the party looking for the princess. He could almost taste the reward from Master Zor when he presented him with the princess. She was the Key.
Blazing orange eyes saw, as the hard grim mouth curved in a malicious smile, the princess being cornered by his men, some of her power guard, consisting of were-animals and sorcerers, slain around her while others, still up, holding off his men as they created a force-field around the princess. The were-animals shape shifted into their animal forms, fully prepared to defend when attacked.
Arador raised his hand to send a force-field breaking blast when he felt the ground tremble beneath him. A new wave of energy could be felt around him.
"What the..." Arador turned in search of the source when he saw a sole figure on the edge of the hill. Looking closely, his eyes widened, his whole body felt frozen in shock as he watched thinking, "No way! It can't be her. She is dead. No..." Yet it was. Alexandra Toshi. His mortal enemy.
The wind was gathering very fiercely around her. Her dark think hair running wild in the air, her brown eyes taking in the scene below her finally came to rest upon him. The air between them cackled as their gazes locked and her eyes color changed to that of thunder.
The shock of seeing Alex alive, unbalanced Arador for a moment however he quickly recovered and send a blast of energy towards Alex but he was seconds too late. She had disappeared from the hill and was now standing in front of his men and princess Marriane had conveniently disappeared.
Arador immediately moved in front of his men, now leading the attack. Eyes narrowing, he sent the first blast straight at Alex.
Seeing Arador again sent a wave of cold fury over Alex. She could feel the powers within her bones. It was time. They would end this here and now. Zor did not need to know about her yet.
Sensing rather then seeing his blast, Alex diverted it with a flick of her wrist. With steely determination she moved forward and counter-attacked him. Both armies stood, watching them battle. It was a sight to behold.
Alex felt the energies of nature blending with her. Her eyes changing color to each of the nature’s tools she used to attack Arador. The swift color changes and the nature’s attack was enough to distract Arador. He was beginning to feel the first bout of apprehension dawning over him as he realized who she was.
Oh Lord! She is the prophesized ONE. Controller of Nature.
"Must tell..." It was his last thought before a bolt of lightening him square on his heart.
