forward to reading Beloved. Fri Jan 17 13:03:41 PST 1997Rebecca Jewsbury rebecca@bankersround.org
Good Afternoon!I found your book, BRIDE, delightful.A question, how
did you research the Navy SEALs? Did you interview anyone, did you pull
information off of the 'Net (there are lots of sites devoted to them),
or did you get most of your information out of books? Also, Popular Mechanics
magazine published an update of new weapons that are being used by the
SEALs. It was published last year. They have put it up on their Web Site.Well,
that's it really. By the way, if you would like a list of the Web S ites
devoted to SEALs and other U.S. Special Forces on the Internet please feel
free to email me back.With respect,Rebecca Jewsburyrebecca@bankersround.org

I thought I would share this with you. I got your email address from
one of the Guestbooks on romance novels in the internet.I recently got
an email from someone who gave me the web page of aproposed book by some
author. I read three chapters of the book, and Ithought it needs consideration.
Read it and you'll know what I'mtalking about. This author really understands
the heart of a woman.I heard the book from my sister and grandmother. I
think the writer ofthe book is a new author. The web page given to m e can
be found at the following address:http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/1510/dynes.htmlI
think the author is looking for an agent or publisher. Through word ofmouth,
maybe we could start reading his books in print.Paula Cringecringe@bigfoot.com

Dear Stella: Being a devoted fan of your historicals, I will try to
get through this greeting with a minimum of calf slobber. I was absolutely
delighted when my friend Deborah Rossman of the Northeast Ohio RWA sent
me an autographed copy of BELOVED, which you personalized with my name.
She was surprised you knew where my hometown of Olalla was, but being a
native Northwesterner yourself, that's not at all surprising. You spoke
to the Ohio group on 3/1 at a library. Afterwards, Debbie Rossman and Debbie
Kraus had dinner with you and others from the group, then took you back
to the hotel. When Debbie sent me BELOVED, I couldn't have been happier,
because ever since reading BRIDE, I had wondered what happened to Saber
when he had disappeared. I knew he was too important a character (as is
Ella) to not have their own book. Now I have it, and cannot wait to read
it. Unfortunately, I will not have time for reading until after the RWA
national confer Sun Apr 27 19:35:38 PDT 1997(Anonymous) (No message left) Wed Apr 30 07:27:32 PDT 1997Elisa Stoller stusto@aol.com

Dear Stella, I just finished "DEAR STRANGER". This is the
first of your novels I have read. I enjoyed it very much.
I can usually figure out the villian but you suprised me.
When I find and author I like I try to read everything
they have written. I usually read at least four booka a
week. Some of my favorite authors don't write fast enough
for me. I look forward to reading all the rest of your
novels.
Regards,
Beth Foster

Hi,
Just wanted to sign in. Your web site looks really great! I just received the latest issue of RW and read their 4-star review of "Wait For Me." It sounds as though it is a VERY interesting read and I will be calling the nearest Waldenbooks to have t
hem secure a copy when the book is ready for distribution.
I have really enjoyed your previous works, especially "Beloved."

I have enjoyed all of your books. Both historical as well as contemporary. I was excited when I heard you had a new one coming out, but now that I have read the first chapter, I can hardly wait for November! One of the first historicals I read was FASC
INATION and have been in love with the Rossmara's since. Even if it is only a short visit with Ma, I know I will enjoy the book!!

Stella,
Lovely web page. I will look for your latest if I ever get to a bookstore. I am living in a very different area now. Decent bookstores are an hour drive, and I am working too much to go(thank God), but I will catch up.I bought Bride and Charmed rec
ently, so I have those to fall back on, anyway.
Love,
Julia

Hi there, Stella!
Just wanted to write and tell you how much I enjoy
your books! I've already read True Bliss (wonderful),
Guilty Pleasures, Dear Stranger, and Pure Delights, and
can't wait to read the rest of your novels! They are all
funny, sexy, and romantic. (By the way, where can I find
a man like the ones you write about? Are all in
Washington state? Maybe that's why I can't seem to find
one here in NJ! :) ) I was never a romance reader
before this year, but now you and Jayne Ann Krentz
/Amanda Quick are two of my favorite authors! Keep up
the great work!

I am currently reading "Wait For Me" and am enjoying it
almost as much as rhe Rossmara series. I can hardly wait
for Max's story. I love books that take one family and
each member gets his or her own individual book. I really
look forward to your new books and have not been dissappointed yet.

I fell in love with Stella's book when I first read "Guilty Pleasures." I've since sought out and purchased all the other books she's written that are still in print. I really enjoy her character development and story lines. She also has the knack of weav
ing in humorous or suspenseful undertones without detracting from the characters or distracting me. Keep up the great work.

Stella, I've read all of your books and I just love them, especially your historical romances. I also love the fact that you write new books so often! It's lovely not having to wait a year between books! Keep up the good work!

Stella, My sister(also my roommate) & I love your books. We want more. We like the fact that several of your books have inter-related characters. And the characters are human, they are flawed just like real people. We would like to see some more con
temporary stories.

I absolutely adored Sheer Pleasures and Guilty Pleasures!
I LOVE anything to do with Navy SEALs! Any chance of upcoming novels with SEALs?
Oh yes, I have read your other novels, and they too are fabulous.
I hope that you are keeping busy... think SEALs while writing!
Sincerely, Melissa
